Isrotel ClassiCameri Festival in Eilat

January 9-12, 2025

The successful collaboration between Isrotel and Raanana Symphonette Orchestra continues in the Festival’s 26th year!

The successful collaboration between Isrotel and the Ra’anana Symphonette Orchestra continues this year as well!

This time we are excited to host once again the Music Director of the orchestra, Omer Meir Wellber, who will come to us from Hamburg, where he was appointed as Music Director of both the Opera and the Philharmonic orchestra. His tenure will start in September 2025.

He will head the festival and conduct concerts with the international virtuoso violinist Sergei Krylov (Russia/Italy) as well as the “Vienna” concert with the renowned cellist Jan Vogler (Germany/USA).

In addition, the conductor, composer and pianist Yaron Gottfried, who serves as the Music Director of the Ono Music school will open the festival with a program joining Hebrew songs and French chansons. He will also conduct Beethoven’s tumultuous Seventh Symphony and “Opera in Swing” which combines baroque and jazz together with the successful Israeli soprano in Europe, Einat Aronstein.

David Sebba, the orchestra’s Conductor-in-Residence, will host the Parvarim Duo in a nostalgic Israeli program as well as the singers Tom Cohen and Daniela Skorka in a special and sensual tango program. Omri Mor, the multidisciplinary pianist will appear together with the conductor Matan Yona in the program From Mozart to the African continent. Trio Alexander (Nitai Zori, Michal Tal and Ella Tobi) will perform a chamber program dedicated to Haydn and Brahms and Joca Perpignan (vocals and percussion) will carry us away with Brazilian music.

In the festive Gala evening that closes the festival, the beloved singer Shimon Buskila will appear together with the guests of the festival in a surprising and unique encounter featuring Israeli classics with the Raanana Symphonette, conducted by Omer Meir Wellber.

And many more surprises…
